Turn your Sabotages into your Superpowers – the most EPIC series on Human Design and the Centres.

The 9 ways we sabotage ourselves and how we can turn it around and create profit from our potential.

In Human Design, after we’ve mastered Strategy & Authority, we look at our “centers”. This is the part of our chart that has all the squares, triangles and the diamond bit in the middle.

Centers can be looked at as if they’re chakras. They’re not, but it’s the closest thing to compare and give you context.

When they are coloured in it means they are “defined” and thus we have consistent access to the energy in that center.

When they are white, or “open”, this is where a lot of our self-sabotaging behaviour comes in, so in this series we are going to cover all nine centers and I’m going to show you how you can turn them into your SUPERPOWER so you can use this in your marketing, when you’re communicating with others, when in any kind of conflict and when in any kind of love.

splenic center | Krisha Young

We start our journey with The Spleen because this is where many of our fears are based.

When you have this area open, you’ll experience things like holding onto relationships, contracts, projects, clients, spouses, partners etc way longer than healthy for you. It takes you a little longer than others who have this defined to realize someone or something is healthy or unhealthy for you. You’ll likely have a sense elsewhere in your body, like your intuition, but having this centre open will make it harder for you to realize it until later.

Because of this tendency to hold on, you might find yourself in codependent relationships that offer you a feel-good factor. They make you feel safe somehow, so you hang on.

You might be rigid and lack flexibility in your beliefs or stance in life.

The Spleen has seven fear gates that can further exacerbate a feeling of uncertainty in your life – fear of failure, fear of not being good enough, fear of what’s to come or fear of repeating the past, fear of being responsible for things you don’t want to be responsible for or fear of losing responsibility.

So…how can we turn this into our superpowers?

First – what are the superpowers of the Spleen?

With this centre open, you have a spidey sense of who is HEALTHY and who is not. You are able to confront your fears, you know how to use your strategy & authority to decide what to hold onto and what to let go of. You also can let go of rigid beliefs and see the possibility in what life brings you!

Splenic power is all about instant instinct. Survival instinct. The fight or flight messaging system we all have within us.

Turning it into your superpower takes the following steps:

First, slow things down in your life – if you’re not already doing so, start to either meditate or just take 5 Minute Silent Chambers throughout your day where you are not troubled by anything or anyone and you have a chance to allow the running thoughts to die down a bit so you can hear what your best next step is.

Then you can start to become aware of where you might be in the unhealthy splenic state.

Things you might say to yourself:

“I’m not going to do that because I don’t feel secure enough, or I feel scared every time I think of that”

“I’m afraid I will feel not good enough if I do this”

“I’m not going to do this thing because I’m afraid what the outcome will be, I’m afraid to be rejected or criticized, I’m afraid of making the same mistake again so I’ll just avoid it”

Journal questions to ask yourself:

Am I in a partnership, contract or relationship with someone/thing people have told me isn’t good for me?

Am I dependent on this partnership, contract or relationship to provide me with a sense of safety and security?

Do my fears overrule my life and hold me back from what I really want to do?

Journal on the above questions, and start to observe what comes up for you – is there something you really need to break off but aren’t sure how to? This is where having a support network would be critical for you. A good friend, coach, mentor or therapist. Someone who will not let you fall back into old patterns and who will keep you accountable would be best – leaving relationships of this kind can be challenging, so be sure you’re supported! Same goes if you’re holding yourself back because of fear!!!

Once you start to notice all the areas this pattern is playing out in your life you can start to make positive change and let go of the things that no longer feel good to you so you can bring in the stuff that is healthy and in alignment.

Profit Potential – using this as a spidey sense in any kind of sales or marketing situation means that you can get a sense of whether or not the person you’re about to do business with is able to trust themselves, has a sense of well-being and knows how to crush through fear. If you’re looking to enrol clients for your coaching business, even though you will be cultivating this in them, it’s good to know where you’re starting from. You will be able to deeply and quickly intuit who is fearful and who isn’t. You will know immediately who is safe and who isn’t.

One thing to note – you may have some of these patterns even if yours is “defined” (coloured in). It’s because you’re likely not following your strategy & authority so you exacerbate the fears within you (or fears of others). Whatever you learn about your design, always remember your strategy & authority.

Thanks for taking the tour around the Splenic Centre! Up next – The Head Centre and Shiny Object Syndrome

head center | Krisha Young

Up next is the Head Centre – this is the place that most people get tripped up in because it’s all about losing focus and shiny objects!

If you have this open, you can get easily lost in doubt and confusion. You might take on the questions, worries or doubts of others (different than fear). If someone is doubtful, you might become doubtful where before you were fine, or you might want to try to take their doubts, questions or worries away. You lose focus…oh look! Squirrel! You lose focus, and forget what you were doing or saying a minute ago.

You might have a thousand projects on the go, especially if you’re a Manifesting Generator and dedicate little time to each.

A million Chrome tabs open is a sign of someone with open head who is distracted and easily loses focus.

So…how can we turn this into our superpowers?

First – what are the superpowers of the Head?

With this centre open, you have the ability to know who or what is inspiring. You can really tune into what or who is worth listening to, and what the important questions are to ask. You know what is of value for humanity.

You can also help others come to clarity, vision or inspiration.

Turning it into your superpower takes the following steps:

First, slow things down in your life – if you’re not already doing so, start to either meditate or just take 5 Minute Silent Chambers throughout your day where you are not troubled by anything or anyone and you have a chance to allow the running thoughts to die down a bit.

Then you can start to become aware of where you might be in the unhealthy splenic state.

Things you might say to yourself:

I need to find something to be inspired by. I need to be inspired.

I need to get these questions answered, where can I get questions answered (goes to Google).

I need to make sense of this. Who has the answers I need?

Journal questions to ask yourself:

What are you feeling confused, doubtful or seeking inner truth about?

What are the questions that rattle around in your head – can you let them go and see what’s left?

Do these questions that are rattling around matter to YOU? Or are you trying to answer for someone else?

Making lists of things helps you to keep a reminder of the things you need to focus on.

Journal on the above questions, and start to observe what comes up for you – is there something you really need to get clear and focused on but aren’t sure how to? This is where having a support network would be critical for you. A good friend, coach, mentor or therapist. Someone who will not let you fall back into old patterns and who will keep you accountable would be best – getting focused can sometimes be a challenge, so be sure you’re supported! Same goes if you’re holding yourself back because of doubt or uncertainty!!!

Once you start to notice all the areas this pattern is playing out in your life you can start to make positive change and let go of the things that no longer feel good to you so you can bring in the stuff that is healthy and in alignment.

Profit Potential – using this as a spidey sense in any kind of sales or marketing situation means that you can get a sense of whether or not the person you’re about to do business with is inspiring or not. Do they have meaningful things to say? Can you help them focus on what they need to focus on? Are your clients & customers maybe asking the wrong questions, how can you get them to ask the right questions to themselves so they get better results.

One thing to note – you may have some of these patterns even if yours is “defined” (coloured in). It’s because you’re likely not following your strategy & authority so you exacerbate the shiny objects  (or doubts of others). Whatever you learn about your design, always remember your strategy & authority.

Thanks for taking the tour around the Head Centre! Up next – The Will/Heart Centre and Self Worth & Willpower

heart center | Krisha Young

Up next is the Will / Heart Centre – listen up because chances are you have this open. ⅞ people do!

If you have this open, you can really struggle with sticking to things. You might find you start things but don’t finish them, or you fall off the wagon a lot. You might struggle with self-worth – charging for your services, asking for your fee on a sales call, overdelivering in a way that feels heavy and unhealthy after awhile, or offering more than what they’re paying for so that you can feel good about what you’re offering.

You’ll likely struggle with closing sales especially if you’re selling yourself.

So…how can we turn this into our superpowers?

First – what are the superpowers of the Will?

With this centre open, you have the ability to know who or what is worthy of your time and attention. You get a sense of who has self worth, often the lack of worth you feel around others is you reflecting THEIR lack of self worth.

Is part of your work to help people tap into their worth? You can use your open will as a way to help them feel worthy.

And as for willpower and sticking with things – remember to always make decisions for what you commit to from strategy and authority – those will tell you whether you’ll have the long term energy to carry out a project or idea to the finish line. Often you fall off the wagon because you didn’t really have the energy to carry out the thing to begin with!

I have to be in control.

I have to PUSH through this.

I need to pump myself up so I feel good about myself.

I need to show my loyalty towards others, so I’ll agree to participate even though I don’t want to.

I’m not good enough unless I prove it.

Journal questions to ask yourself:

Am I always trying to prove myself?

Am I trying to prove that I’m a good person, parent, employee, partner, coach/business owner etc?

Do I make promises to people that I just can’t keep but I’m afraid if I don’t they’ll reject me?

Am I feeling a lack of self worth because the person I was with feels it?

Am I willing myself to complete / stay / stick to what I said I was going to – but I really, really don’t want to?

Journal on the above questions, and start to observe what comes up for you – is there something you really need to break off but aren’t sure how to? This is where having a support network would be critical for you. A good friend, coach, mentor or therapist. Someone who will not let you fall back into old patterns and who will keep you accountable would be best – Open Will is a difficult centre to navigate so don’t be afraid to ask for help!

Once you start to notice all the areas this pattern is playing out in your life you can start to make positive change and let go of the things that no longer feel good to you so you can bring in the stuff that is healthy and in alignment.

Profit Potential – using this as a spidey sense in any kind of sales or marketing situation means that you can get a sense of whether or not the person you’re about to do business with is worthy of your time, investment, referral etc. You can see/sense self worth in others and you’ll know who can make and keep promises.

One thing to note – you may have some of these patterns even if yours is “defined” (coloured in). It’s because you’re likely not following your strategy & authority so you exacerbate the lack of self worth within you (or worth of others). Whatever you learn about your design, always remember your strategy & authority.

Thanks for taking the tour around the Will Centre! Up next – The Root Centre & The Pressure to Keep Up

root center | Krisha Young

Up next is the Root Centre – a pressure centre that keeps us in a hurry to get shit done.

If you have this open, you can feel impatient, and in a hurry to be rid of the pressure to do. Speeding, hurrying something you’re enjoying (like reading, or sex), being impatient are all sabotages of the undefined root centre. Hurries endlessly and forever, damaging their physical health – adrenal issues can come from here. Takes on the stress of others. You can be very impatient.

So…how can we turn this into our superpowers?

First – what are the superpowers of the Root?

With this centre open, you have the ability to know how to not rush to make a decision, you can use this pressure to your advantage by recognizing it for what it is…external pressure.

What am I going to do to make my life better?

Where is my purpose? I have to achieve something in my life.

I better hurry up and get this done.

I have to start something new now.

Journal questions to ask yourself:

How can I get past this limitation?

What am I going to focus on? I need something to focus on.

I need to be needed. Who needs me? Where can I go to be needed?

Where is my passion? What am I passionate about?

I feel like a new experience. I have to hurry up and initiate a new experience.

I don’t want to waste any time. I have to get this done.

Journal on the above questions, and start to observe what comes up for you – are you always rushed or impatient? This is where having a support network would be critical for you. A good friend, coach, mentor or therapist. Someone who will not let you fall back into old patterns and who will keep you accountable would be best.

Once you start to notice all the areas this pattern is playing out in your life you can start to make positive change and let go of the things that no longer feel good to you so you can bring in the stuff that is healthy and in alignment.

Profit Potential – using this as a spidey sense in any kind of sales or marketing situation means that you can get a sense of whether or not the person you’re about to do business with is rooted, calm and centered. You can turn this to your advantage by allowing the crazy pressure of others to just flow through you without acting on it. Use the pressure to your advantage but don’t get caught up in the drama of it.

One thing to note – you may have some of these patterns even if yours is “defined” (coloured in). It’s because you’re likely not following your strategy & authority so you exacerbate the fears within you (or fears of others). Whatever you learn about your design, always remember your strategy & authority.

Thanks for taking the tour around the Root Centre! Up next – The Emotional Solar Plexus – Empathy and Avoidance

solar plexus center | Krisha Young

Up next is the Emotional Solar Plexus Centre – here is one of my favourite Centres.

If you have this open, you will be very empathetic. You can FEEL what others around you are feeling. You have a mosaic of information to tap into from others around you. Because of this you might avoid confrontation – handling the emotions of others can seem really hard and heavy sometimes, so it’s easier to avoid it all together. You’ll likely feel pretty neutral when you’re by yourself.

So…how can we turn this into our superpowers?

First – what are the superpowers of the Solar Plexus?

You are emotionally stable (yes! You are! If you clear out everyone else’s emotions, you’ll find you’re actually quite neutral). You have so much empathy. You can move in and out of other people’s emotional waves without identifying with them.

The Solar Plexus has many gates that can create fear around things like intimacy, being stuck in traditional roles (such as a parent / wife / husband etc), fear of rejection from the tribe, fear of silence – not being heard or not having anything good to listen to, fear of not having anything to be passionate about, fear of lacking passion in your life, fear of being sexually inadequate, and fear of what may or may not happen. All of these fears are emotionally driven so they might come with tears or laughter, melancholy, even depression or some other emotion compared to the fears of the spleen which will be more scarcity-type fears and likely appear in your body in the chest region.

I can’t deal with this person / place. Too emotional.

I’m not gonna say anything because I don’t want to upset that person.

Let’s soften how we speak so that we don’t invite confrontation.

I’m gonna be neutral, nice and pleasant so that they like me.

I’m not gonna go to that thing because I don’t want to be rejected.

Journal questions to ask yourself:

Are you avoiding confrontation & truth?

Are you nervous, anxious, touchy?

Are you uncertain of how to feel about a certain situation?

What am I avoiding looking at / confronting in my life/business right now? How can I invoke a loving conversation/exit strategy?

Journal on the above questions, and start to observe what comes up for you – is there something you really need to confront but aren’t sure how to? Are you unsure how to not get caught up in other people’s crap? This is where having a support network would be critical for you. A good friend, coach, mentor or therapist. Someone who will not let you fall back into old patterns and who will keep you accountable would be best – setting boundaries like this can be challenging, so be sure you’re supported! Same goes if you’re drowning in other people’s crap!

Once you start to notice all the areas this pattern is playing out in your life you can start to make positive change and let go of the things that no longer feel good to you so you can bring in the stuff that is healthy and in alignment.

Profit Potential – using this as a spidey sense in any kind of sales or marketing situation means that you can get a sense of whether or not the person you’re about to do business with is emotionally stable or not.  With this centre open, you have the ability to know how to deeply tap into the feelings of the people in your life, your clients etc. You have ten different ways to describe/feel joy, anger, happiness, sadness. Someone who is defined here only experiences THEIR emotions, not anyone else’s. I think this is one of the best open centres to have, especially in marketing! You can infuse your sales copy with inspiring, feeling words that really get to the heart of how your customer is feeling.

One thing to note – you may have some of these patterns even if yours is “defined” (coloured in). It’s because you’re likely not following your strategy & authority so you exacerbate the fears within you (or fears of others). Whatever you learn about your design, always remember your strategy & authority.

Thanks for taking the tour around the Solar Plexus Centre! Up next – The Ajna and Thinking you “just don’t get things.”

ajna center | Krisha Young

Up next is the Ajna Centre – here is where we are constantly trying to figure things out, trying to prove we are certain, or worse – right.

If you have this open, you can get into a trap of trying to convince people you know what they’re saying, or what you’re talking about when the reality is you have no clue. You might struggle with feeling stupid or not fast enough, of getting confused easily. You might try to convince yourself or others that you ARE smart, damn it! You might be overly opinionated on crap you know nothing about. You may be defensive in your concepts (it HAS to be this way) or you use your mind to make decisions from (using pro/con lists to DECIDE).

So…how can we turn this into our superpowers?

First – what are the superpowers of the Ajna?

With this centre healthy and open, you have the ability to take in information like a sponge. You’re able to process many different concepts and ideas and not get stuck on one or another. You don’t care if you look or sound smart, you just enjoy thinking and processing and figuring things out but don’t have any attachment to it.

I gotta figure this out, I better figure this out or I’ll look stupid.

I have to know the answers.

I need order to rid myself of the chaos (including overthinking, rushing thoughts)

I’m certain / I’m right that ____

I need to memorize all of this.

I have no freakin clue what is going on but I’m gonna pretend I do…then google the shit out of it later.

Journal questions to ask yourself:

Am I too rigid in my beliefs? Are they serving me or do I just need to be right because I can’t stand being wrong?

Am I pretending I know what people are talking about when I really have no clue?

Are these concepts I know and understand serving my highest purpose anymore?

How can I let go of needing to be right?

Can I be brave and ask for clarity when I’m uncertain?

Can I be brave and tell people I need to check my notes, or refer to a source so that I can give the best information to them?

Journal on the above questions, and start to observe what comes up for you – do you struggle with thoughts of being “stupid” or not smart enough compared to your peers? This is where having a support network would be critical for you. A good friend, coach, mentor or therapist. Someone who will not let you fall back into old patterns and who will keep you accountable would be best .

Once you start to notice all the areas this pattern is playing out in your life you can start to make positive change and let go of the things that no longer feel good to you so you can bring in the stuff that is healthy and in alignment.

Profit Potential – using this as a spidey sense in any kind of sales or marketing situation means that you can get a sense of whether or not the person you’re about to do business with knows their shit or not. Likely if you are feeling uncertain around someone, it’s because THEY are not certain of what they’re talking about! Don’t turn that on yourself and allow the self-talk to run your life. Stop, ask yourself – does this person know what they’re talking about? And start asking them questions to get more clarity. Sometimes people struggle with getting what they think out of their mouths, by you picking up on the uncertainty, you can help them better formulate what they want to say so that everyone feels heard and understands what’s being discussed. You can help deliver certainty to your customers by speaking to what you actually ARE certain about – your passion, your personal results, your experiences.

One thing to note – you may have some of these patterns even if yours is “defined” (coloured in). It’s because you’re likely not following your strategy & authority so you exacerbate the fears within you (or fears of others). Whatever you learn about your design, always remember your strategy & authority.

Thanks for taking the tour around the Ajna Centre! Up next – The Identity (G) Centre and What’s Your Direction in Life and Love?

g identity center | Krisha Young

Up next is the G (Identity) Centre – This is one of the most challenging centres to have open. It’s all about seeking love and seeking direction.

If you have this open, you can get easily lost in seeking love, seeking direction and this can mean always looking outside yourself for people to help you, or looking constantly for the love of your life, or to belong to a group of people. I have this centre open…it’s been a doozy!

You can also be really uncertain who you truly are, and what your role is either in society at large or in a company – even if it’s your own. I often get lost in “what’s my job again” in my own business, especially now that I have a team!

One thing to note that is quite critical is that people with open G have a hard time if they’re in the wrong environment. This means either the city/town you live in, the house you live in, or simply just a restaurant, cafe or someone’s house. If you are somewhere and things are just not working out the way you feel they should, ask yourself – do I love where I live? If the answer is no, I can’t stress enough how important it is for you to move. It’s no joke – I struggled with this and found real shifts in my business and life once I let go of the locations (and people) who were not right for me. If a person or place does not feel right to me, I leave immediately because otherwise the experience will just be comically bad – like restaurants for example, everything will be wrong, from my order to not having the one thing I want on the menu.

So…how can we turn this into our superpowers?

First – what are the superpowers of the G Centre?

With this centre open, you have the ability to know the TRUTH of the other person. People with open G make GREAT coaches, mentors, advisors because we can SEE/SENSE your truth and direction. This is my superpower – it’s how I know like I know when someone is not being honest with themselves and why I’m able to get people to their truth very quickly, and hence on their right path. Open G can give you a sense of the other person’s identity, to the point where you may take on their personna. Their accents, mannerisms, gestures etc. Kinda cool while travelling! But just be careful not to get lost in it.

When in a healthy state, you remain open to moving in many directions in life and to being guided by those around you.

You’re always tuned in to your comfort level with the environment which tells you if you are moving in the right direction.

Recognize that you are a mirror for the identity of others.

Comfortable with not knowing who you are (identity-wise).

At peace with no ‘fixed’ sense of direction, identity and love.

Open G Gates (gates are the numbers you see inside the centre) are really cool – you are able to either DIRECT others or bring others to LOVE.

I have Gate 15 and Gate 46 activated in my design, and with my Open G, I’m able to take in the identity and truth of others and help direct them to their version of balance (Gate 15 is about extremes), and I’m able to help people embody the new sense of self they’re calling into their lives (Gate 46 is about Love of the Body).

Then you can start to become aware of where you might be in the unhealthy G state.

Things you might say to yourself:

Who am I?

Where should I go to find out who I am?

Who can show me?

Who am I going to love?

Who is going to love me? How do I find them? Where can I find them?

What am I going to do with my life?

Do I feel lost?

Let’s go here because we might find something that will show me who I am or what to do with my life (or the love of my life).

Journal questions to ask yourself:

Am I looking for love?

Am I confused about my role and looking for the purpose and direction of my life?

Am I trying to find out who I am?

Have I taken on the identity of a mentor, lover, friend and “lost myself” in any way?

Journal on the above questions, and start to observe what comes up for you – do you feel a sense of not knowing what to do or where to go next? Do you want to learn how to trust yourself more? This is where having a support network would be critical for you. A good friend, coach, mentor or therapist. Someone who will not let you fall back into old patterns and who will keep you accountable would be best – as I mentioned, this is a challenging centre to have open, especially if you grew up in an unhealthy environment.

Once you start to notice all the areas this pattern is playing out in your life you can start to make positive change and let go of the things that no longer feel good to you so you can bring in the stuff that is healthy and in alignment.

Profit Potential – using this as a spidey sense in any kind of sales or marketing situation means that you can help people find their direction or love. You can help guide them into self empowerment, loving their body, balancing out their extremes, taking better care of the planet, self-love, their vision in life, direction. You can really sense their truth, who they are and guide them towards their truth!

One thing to note – you may have some of these patterns even if yours is “defined” (coloured in). It’s because you’re likely not following your strategy & authority so you exacerbate the fears within you (or fears of others). Whatever you learn about your design, always remember your strategy & authority.

Thanks for taking the tour around the G Centre! Up next – Sacral Centre & Your Battery Power (or not!)

sacral center | Krisha Young

Up next is the Sacral Centre – you will have this open if you are anything but a Generator. Generators are the only Type who has access to Sacral power.

If you have this open, you can get exhausted trying to keep up with us Generators! You don’t have the same battery power of consistent energy to keep working at the same level we do. You might find yourself feeling super tired and exhausted with keeping up with everyone.

So…how can we turn this into our superpowers?

First – what are the superpowers of the Sacral?

With this centre open, I would refer you back to your Type and Strategy to know how best to support others. Are you a Projector? Great! Remember, you’re here to advise us generators on what to do! (But only if we ask). If you’re a Manifestor you’re here to initiate & galvanize a new concept or action (but only once you’ve informed!) – but you guys aren’t really here to DO the work. That’s for Generators – we love to work!! If you’re a Projector, Manifestor or Reflector hire generators! Hire us to help you BUILD what you want to build. Don’t do it on your own – you’ll exhaust yourself trying to do all the things. You’re here to work as a specialist for short bursts at a time, and know when you’ve had enough of “sacral” energy – remember 70% of the population are Generators, with half of that being Manifesting Generators – they’re the super duper workhorses of our society. If you are trying to keep up with MG’s, you will find yourself feeling like you’re lazy and can’t keep up. You’re not, so don’t.

I’m so lazy.

I’m so exhausted, why can’t I keep up – my energy is so low all the time.

Let’s keep working. We really need to get this done.

We need to say yes to that, otherwise we might miss out on something.

I can keep going. Let me just get a cup of coffee. •

We can do that, too. Not a problem. We’re not tired yet.

I don’t want to take a nap or lay down – there’s too much to do.

Let’s take care of that for them.

I have to do it myself.

Life is juicy – who wants to say no.

Boundaries? What boundaries?

Journal questions to ask yourself:

Do I know when enough is enough?

Do I stop when I need rest?

Do I honor the inconsistency of my energy?

Am I afraid to stop because I’ll look weak?

Journal on the above questions, and start to observe what comes up for you – is there something you really need to break off but aren’t sure how to? This is where having a support network would be critical for you. A good friend, coach, mentor or therapist. Someone who will not let you fall back into old patterns and who will keep you accountable would be best – learning that you’re not here to work like the rest of us might be a big shock for you since our society doesn’t understand it, so be sure you’re supported!

Once you start to notice all the areas this pattern is playing out in your life you can start to make positive change and let go of the things that no longer feel good to you so you can bring in the stuff that is healthy and in alignment.

Profit Potential – using this as a spidey sense in any kind of sales or marketing situation means that you can get a sense of whether or not the person you’re about to do business with is able to have the energy to carry things out, and you can help others to see when they’re about to burnout and how to use their energy properly (e.g. you can really help guide Generators to decide whether a project is good for them or not by asking them questions to activate their Sacral response).

One thing to note – you may have some of these patterns even if yours is “defined” (coloured in). It’s because you’re likely not following your strategy & authority so you exacerbate the fears within you (or fears of others). Whatever you learn about your design, always remember your strategy & authority.

Thanks for taking the tour around the Head Centre! Up next – The Throat Centre and Learning to Speak Your Truth

throat center | Krisha Young

Up next is the Throat Centre – we all love to voice our opinions, messages and insights but sometimes it can be a little tricky if this centre is open.

If you have this open, you can sometimes find yourself over-speaking if you feel you’re not being heard. You can continue to talk even after someone asked you to stop. You might struggle to get what you want to say out in a clear and concise manner. You might be trying to attract attention with words or actions. You try to be a Manifestor. You might talks excessively.  You could be very insecure about what you will say. Trying to be the star.

So…how can we turn this into our superpowers?

First – what are the superpowers of the Throat?

With this centre open, you have the ability to know who & what is worthy of attention; you have the potential to express yourself in a variety of ways such as singing or multi-lingual. A healthy person remains quiet and does not act until initiated to speak or to do something. You’re not concerned with planning what you will say. You’re good at knowing who speaks the truth.  Transformation (metamorphosis) does not happen constantly, but rather in spurts.

Each gate in the throat has a different voice – for example, I have gate 23 activated and the voice of Gate 23 is “I know (or not)”; this means if I say “I know” about something, it’s coming from my truth. If I say “I think” I’m not picking up my own truth because I do not have that gate activated (Gate 62) so if I find myself saying “I think” I might be picking up the other person’s design.

Then you can start to become aware of where you might be in the unhealthy Throat state.

Things you might say to yourself:

Where should I go so that I can get the attention I want?

Is anyone noticing me?

If I say this then I will be noticed.

If I initiate this conversation then I will get the attention I deserve.

I better say something because this silence is making me uncomfortable.

What action should I take to manifest? I better manifest something.

What or who will I become in life?

Journal questions to ask yourself:

Am I trying to attract attention?

Am I initiating the conversation?

Am I taking premature action?

Am I trying to be a star?

Journal on the above questions, and start to observe what comes up for you – is there something you really need to break off but aren’t sure how to? This is where having a support network would be critical for you. A good friend, coach, mentor or therapist. Someone who will not let you fall back into old patterns and who will keep you accountable would be best – you deserve to speak your truth and to be heard!

Once you start to notice all the areas this pattern is playing out in your life you can start to make positive change and let go of the things that no longer feel good to you so you can bring in the stuff that is healthy and in alignment.

Profit Potential – using this as a spidey sense in any kind of sales or marketing situation means that you can help others become wise to their words and help them find their voice. You can tell when someone is speaking out their butthole and get a sense of their truth.

One thing to note – you may have some of these patterns even if yours is “defined” (coloured in). It’s because you’re likely not following your strategy & authority so you exacerbate the fears within you (or fears of others). Whatever you learn about your design, always remember your strategy & authority.

That’s it!

The whole TOUR around the OPEN Centres.

Remember that wherever you are open, you’re vulnearble to the ebbs and flows of humanity around you, you can’t count on the energy source from those areas on a consistent basis, so go back to your design and always follow your strategy and authority.
