What a fabulous thing that we have a day dedicated just for us!! And not just for moms.

I am so damn proud to be a woman, and I am so damn grateful to be living in this day and age.

Let’s take a moment to all the women who came before us, who fought for us to be able to do the things we are doing today that we take completely for granted.

Like opening a bank account all by our wee selves.

I’ve been watching MadMen on Netflix and that first season was really hard to watch – but I’m glad they showed what it was really like back then – and we’re not talking that long ago, people.

We really have come a long way, baby, and it’s just getting better and better.

And as women, we have the responsibility for keeping us moving in the right direction, and this means we need to ensure we are keeping our feminine selves immaculate as much as possible.

We need boundaries and to walk with our heads held high and to feel safe to say no.

We need to soften a little bit so that we can open our capacity to receive – we are HUGE receivers, but you wouldn’t know it because of all the broken conditioning women get around being a bottomless pit of giving until we collapse.

We need to be free to express our emotions in traditionally non-emotionally acceptable environments (like in corporate). Women do not walk around crying all the time – despite how we may be depicted. Women’s emotions are a powerful signpost that something is off track. Women are incredibly intuitive and can sense when something is off…isn’t that an asset? Why this incredibly strong and powerful trait was even deemed “wrong” is beyond me.

So wherever you are on your journey, hold your head high today, be proud to be a WILD WOMAN full of gifts so powerful we’ve been forced to hide them for hundreds of years. #butnomore.

I invite you to join the Collective – if this is resonating with you, come on over to The Bodacious Badass Collective and let’s collectively band together and create our own version of success and femininity that powers us for generations to come.

With ultimate divine feminine love – from my Goddess heart to yours. <3
